Think I’ll cook onions off a bit first like chicken balls. Personal preference, loved cooking with chicken mince a first for me! Cheaper then beef too! Xx

Hi Laura, I always cook on the low setting and they’re usually lovely and soft, however sometimes on high setting (depending how chunky) they can have a little bite - can always toss in the pan for a couple of minutes as you’ve suggested! 🫶 Yes! It’s so much cheaper - there’s a few recipes on here using chicken mince, it’s great for chicken burgers coated in cornflake crumb! You must try those sometime. I’ll see what else I can come up with! ❤️ xx

I have done my whole weeks plan using your shopping list at Aldi and cannot believe how much cheaper it has been. You don’t relaise the cost with processed “easy” foods pizzas etc

Yes! It really does help to bring the cost of the shopping down when you’ve got a plan and a list of things that you actually need! Also, once you’ve got the basics & jars of herbs & spices that are repeated in a lot in the meals, you won’t need to buy those again for some time. You’ll hopefully find that there’s a little less food waste at the end of the week! With the fresh herbs, the potted ones last ages - unless you forget to water them like me! Ooops 🤣 xx
