Notes

Use a tin of good quality finely chopped tomatoes.

Don’t put all the chorizo in at the beginning. The crispy chorizo topping gives you that gorgeous contrast against the soft beef and potatoes.

Calories for the baguette are not included: I have used one small bake at home baguette and cut it into quarters.

Do you need to cook the beef and chorizo first or can it all just go in to slow cooker from start?

You can add it all in raw from the start if you’re stuck for time. For best results, give the meat a quick sear xx
