⬇️ 1.7lb. Really pleased. I've eaten well, moved more and drank water. It's definitely spurred me on!

⬇️ 1lb down Whilst some might be disheartened by this, I’m honestly over the moon - and here’s why 👇 I’ve gone from not moving much at all to training 4 days a week in the gym, mainly weight training. Strength training + a high protein diet = muscle gain. And muscle is denser than fat, so the scales don’t always tell the full story. On top of that, when you get back into the gym or exercising after a quiet spell, your muscles store more glycogen (fuel). Glycogen holds onto water, which can mask fat loss on the scales for weeks. Add in the fact that lifting can cause tiny muscle tears (totally normal and a good thing), and your body hangs onto even more water to repair and rebuild. Temporary, common, and part of the process. ✨ The real wins this week: 1lb down My stomach is visibly less bloated I’m feeling stronger Less knackered in the gym Exercises are starting to feel easier That’s progress I’ll happily take. 🎯 Goals for next week: ✔️ Stick to my calorie deficit ✔️ 4 workouts ✔️ Plenty of water Trusting the process and playing the long game ❤️Lindsey xx
